The Road Trip continues with more goods to load up!

 We found good stuff!! We found good stuff!
As many of you know, my husband is into aviation, and of course, so am I.
Look at this amazing propeller we scooped up at the vintage show Saturday!Can't wait to put it on the antique mantel we just got too!!

 And for my softer side, a French chair, and a new mannequin that is wearing an amazing corset!

 Of course the challenge is to get it all into the Suburban, and  then get  it to the trailer we parked somewhere off site. Aah the bliss of loading all our goodies!

Now sometimes we just have to take a break from all the loading, and Rachel seems to be taking a break with our new friends! Yep, that's all our stuff scattered around the parking lot!
Boy do we have fun!!

The Road Trip continues...

I know it doesn't look that exciting, but trust me, under those blankets are some amazing tables!

This is just lettting you use your imagination about what's under the blankets and the surprise of it all once we get home and unload our new vintage pieces!!

Road Trip # 15 is going really well. Or is that #18? We've lost track of how many trips, but boy do we have some fun stories we tell about every trip we go on! This is no exception!
Great tables, chairs, industrial metal cabinets...it's all packed in the trailer!

Some fresh fabulous merchandise for August!

It's time to lighten up...with colors that is! Mid summer is the perfect time to add some light greens, celadons,and  citrines to your color schemes. This 1930's dresser is the perfect vintage green. Great for a bathroom, entry or mudroom!

 The mirror can be removed, or why not keep it on, to check hair and makeup, as you run out the door?Dressers don't just have to be in the bedroom anymore.

Are you following the Olympics? Anything British is so in right now. A bit of Brit can go a long way to freshening your home. Be it a pillow, an old Subway sign...

Or perhaps a bit of Bitish wall decor!

Summer is peaking, so now's the time to refresh and have a bit of fun; indoors and out!

Yard sale mania!

 We did it! We survived the Yard Sale extravaganza! IT WAS HUGE!!
I've never seen so much stuff out on the highway, piled high on the tables, loaded onto racks, heaped on to make shift saw horse tables....

 If you didn't get to come out for the event, you missed a great one. Bargains on antiques, vintage, furniture and it all sold! We sold down to the last few bits and pieces, well done!

Rachel and Angie worked the sale all weekend, with a lot of help from Meghan and Devie and the rest of the team at Station 8. They even made the sale look pretty! We had a Boutique Antique going out there!
Now that the event is over, we get to gear up for our Buying Trip!!!Yippeee!!We can go find more great stuff for the Shop Rachel! let's go!!!

A few new items to show you!

We have an amazing array of "new" arrivals, my favorite of which is this antique chest of drawers, with a green washed finish, and trout knobs! Love the size and storage capacity of it.

And talk about the industrial trend. We have it right here! An old pallet cart, with handle, perfect for your apartment, cabin or home to give it an edgy factory look, that is so great in any decor style!

And this table set is really a set of old Duncan Phyfe table bases, painted, with a barn door on top to make a perfect sized dining/kitchen table. The chairs have been freshened with paint and fabric and are the beautiful vintage cane style. Love the fresh colors!

And with the upcoming Heritage Days  celebration and rodeo this weekend in Columbia Falls, a bit of western fun is always in style.

Summetime is really here!

Oh happy summer! It's time for wicker, the older the better, sitting on the porch!

And time to get the bike out, even if it has flat tires--perched on the porch or next to the mailbox is endearing!

And it's time to get to the lake for a great gathering!

 Bring the lake and beach colors into your summer decor--now's the time!

And of course,Montana has the best  summer season of all!

And so we continued to set up and fluff!

We finished our booth in record time, & priced all the goodies.

And we even had time to smell the prim(roses) I'd bought

to make our Garden Green House come to life!

Would you like to meet Wanda? She's our newest addition to our fabulous gals at the shop...She is wearing an original outfit hand made by Betsy! I must say, she looks stunning!

And just a few bits of color to make us think Spring is arriving!

These are huge cabbages that will grace our steps back at the shop!

And here we are ready to greet you as you enter! It's almost time to Open!

And forgive how blurry this turned out, but this is part the crowd waiting to get in and SHOP! Hi everyone!!! The line was loooooong, but there's our very own favorite friends from Station 8 at the head of the line. Nice job ladies!
