Front porch days are on the way! Kick off your boots, and slip on your sandals. Let the sun caress your face and the breeze play with your hair. Grab a favorite book and a tall glass of lemonade, you have waited a long time for this......................................................................
the first "front porch day" of the season!
Yesterday, Rae and I had a blast creating our own front porch inside the shop! We had to dig down deep into the warehouse of our imaginations however, since it pretty much poured all day and the thought of wearing sandals made us shiver! But, once we got started, we were unstoppable...one "sunny" idea led to another and before we knew it, there it was, that quintessential front porch, complete with a white spindle bench, well dressed with cornflower blue print pillows of all shapes and sizes. Rae filled a glass pitcher with lemons, and hung a wrought iron chandelier with moss green candles. A bird cage with two nesting love birds and a "handlebar basket" style vintage bike lazing against the porch pillars, completed the look.
We hope you'll stop by for a visit, kick your shoes off, and "set a spell". There's always room on the front porch for friends.
