Meet Olivia, creator of Revival!

It's a fabulous Monday, so I wanted to introduce you to the woman behind this amazing painted furniture and these cool retro outfits--Olivia!
Olivia has such a great eye for fashion. She always comes into the shop looking retro cool herself and the clothing she sells here is flying out the door! I think everyone wants a vintage piece to add to her fall wardrobe, and Olivia's finds are THE BEST!
Olivia's painted furniture shows that her good taste runs to home decor, as well as fashion, and this cutie end table is in a yummy shade of pale sky blue making it very versatile.
I am so very pleased and proud of Olivia, and her shop name " Revival" really hits the mark.
Come in soon and take a peek! The good stuff doesn't last...
All the best,
Colette

New Yummy's for Winter!

Posted by PicasaNo the hair is not for sale! If it were it would be mine already! Many of you will recognize Vanessa, modeling one of our new scarves for winter. Yes the big 'W' is just around the corner, and we're getting prepared here at Station 8. This lovely scarf buttons in the front or back to make it look like a vest. We immediately fell in love with it, and the whole line from the Gypsy Junkies! Last year we carried their knitted headwraps, we also have a new selection of those, along with many more scarves! Come in and see all our new yummy's!
All the best,

My newly promoted assistant, Rachel!

Nothing gives me more satisfaction and pleasure than to promote one of my team members!
Rachel, who has been on my team for a year, has been an amazing asset in her skills at merchandising, display, customer relations and everything else I throw at her!

I knew she was destined to be on my management team when she worked along side me in preparation for the Farm Chicks Show this past June! We clicked like we were one person, and in all the marathon long hour days, she was right there with me, smile on her face and never tiring. Now that's what I call Assistant material! Plus, she makes me laugh, tells me what to do when I'm too tired to think straight any more and just takes charge!

So, congratulations Rachel, I'm so very proud of you and can't believe my good fortune in having you as my new assistant!

Here's to an amazing year!

all the best,
Colette

Magnolia Handspun has arrived!

I am thrilled to introduce Magnolia Handspun, the new line of hand dyed, hand spun yarn I'm now carrying at Station 8! The artist, Camilla Emond, creates this colorful & very textured yarn by hand dyeing and then hand spinning fibers into original wool yarn. And she makes it right here in the Flathead Valley.

She intertwines wool, alpaca, angora locks, Angelina, cotton and silk into soft, luxurious yarn that as she says" makes you happy to knit"! The feel of her yarn is exceptionally soft.

Each skein is unique and cannot be reproduced, thus giving you an original, one of a kind piece.

Just yesterday, Camilla brought in a new color into Station 8, called Lotus Blossom, which is as beautiful as her other selections. She names them yummy names, such as Buttered Rum, Merlot, PrimRose, Spring Iris, Pommegranate, and Citrus. The names alone are scrumptious and describe the blending of colors that make eash skein delicious and desirable!

For more background on Camilla, check out the feature story recently published in the "Artful Blogging Magazine". I am so proud of her accomplishments.

Come into my shop next time you're headed to Columbia Falls, and enjoy the rich feel of her luxurious skeins. You'll start dreaming of your next knitting project to give yourself or a friend!

All the Best,
Colette

Beauty is everywhere!

Okay, so this wonderful old door in this hundred year old building caught my eye while I was on my 4 day getaway trip to Ennis, Montana. The hollyhocks were blooming in front of it and it was such a romantic scene, I had to snap this photo! I am truly in the right business, as I love all of the old, weathered, patina'd pieces and buildings too!

The getaway was so refreshing and relaxing. Picnic lunches by the river, walks across our friend's ranch, twilight on the porch and star gazing in the inky black stillness of the summer night. Bliss! My husband and I love going to Ennis area and the living is just so easy. Thanks to my gals Rachel, Betsy ,Jean and Vanessa for working the weekend so I could have this getaway!

All the best,
Colette
