And let the Party(Prairie Junkin that is) begin!!

And so we continued to set up and fluff!
We finished our booth in record time, & priced all the goodies.

And we even had time to smell the prim(roses) I'd bought
to make our Garden Green House come to life!

Would you like to meet Wanda? She's our newest addition to our fabulous gals at the shop...She is wearing an original outfit hand made by Betsy! I must say, she looks stunning!

And just a few bits of color to make us think Spring is arriving!
These are huge cabbages that will grace our steps back at the shop!
And here we are ready to greet you as you enter! It's almost time to Open!

Posted by PicasaAnd forgive how blurry this turned out, but this is part the crowd waiting to get in and SHOP! Hi everyone!!! The line was loooooong, but there's our very own favorite friends from Station 8 at the head of the line. Nice job ladies!
More to come!
All the best,
Colette

It all began promptly at 3pm Friday, Feb 24th..the BIG set up!

Rachel and I walked into the fairgrounds Expo building, and I was immediately taken with the impact of this message!

And how welcome we felt, being given Treat bags, pretty name badges, and warm hugs from Molly & Laura.
(oooh there's our picket fencing Laura bought from Station 8!!!)

Posted by PicasaOkay, well I may have to edit some items, but the Show is sure to be packed with good stuff. See you Saturday Feb. 25th at the Kalispell Fairgrounds 10am sharp!!

It's a Prairie Sisters Party coming this month!

Have you heard about the big junk show that's coming to the Kalispell Fairgrounds this month?
It's run by Laura and Molly from Missoula, where their original show was held last September. We were a vendor there, and had an amazing show, and met tons of cool people too!
So needless to say, when I heard they were bringing their show to Kalispell, I signed up--we'll have 2 booths this time!! We'll bring our good stuff that we've saved for the Show, and still be open back in Columbia Falls too!
Posted by PicasaSo you'll want to save Saturday February 25th for this junkin extravaganza! It will be in the Expo building and you'll hear more about it as the days draw closer. For more details, check out their web at www.theprairiesisters.com
February will be an amazing month for all us junkers! Vintage Rules!!!
All the best,
Colette(unofficial Prairie Sister!)

Prairie Sisters party!

The Party was amazing! Did you get to go to it? On Saturday, it was a one day Market in Missoula, at the fairgrounds. A junkin, vintage show complete with food, old cars and trucks, airstreams and such for the guys to enjoy while the women SHOPPED!!

Station 8 was there! We came, we saw, we sold, we had a blast with Laura & Molly--the Prairie Sisters! They put on the nicest show I have been to here in Montana, and it was huge! The turnout was over 1600 people in attendance, so it is going to just keep getting bigger and better, and will be a MUST GO TO destination!

Rachel was looking very gypsy in her velvet combo and was selling everything we brought!! It was crazy! I kept replenishing, remerchandising and trying to keep stuff up off the floor, as Rachel sold the trunks, chests, desks, tables, chairs, benches, bed, and more!
Everytime I looked, more had sold and she just kept me running, delivering and restocking!

We made lots of new friends...here's a few of them! This is the owner of Diggs!

And she had the most amazing lampshade that she made for this cool floor lamp! Way cute! (and I forget her name...) But I'll remember her face!

And we were in the coolest old barn--what a perfect setting and we had perfect autumn weather!

And some of the old vehicles that the guys were all drooling over...This one belongs to my friends Janie and Rob!

And of course, the crowds just kept pouring in all day long.

So what did we bring back from the show??
You'll have to come into Station 8 and see all our new goodies we BOUGHT!!!!

All the best,
Colette & Rachel
